Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful husband JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our clan. Many people recognize me on Instagram which is where I share my journey - from the highs and lows. My parents brought me to America in the year 1990, at which point I was just one-and-a half. I would not be able to share my life story today if my parents didn't work hard and make sacrifices. Knowing I had an opportunity for a better life, I aimed to make them proud and had a clear vision when it came to achievement. My mind knew what the plan was to live my life. Go to college and get a degree. Be married. Get a home. Have kids. Although I was convinced that this was the standard for success, life had different plans. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was something I dreaded. The status and wealth did not bring me joy. I felt I was wasting away my time to make a living. While navigating my way towards a new direction in my career, I found that I was supposed to work as an instructor. I loved working out, I liked being social, and I love helping others. In 2014, I established my company which will mark 7 years since my birthday in 2021. Being a Asian female in this industry there are very few of us. To be a leader in my field, and to offer quality coaching, to enable others to achieve a happier and healthier life by creating a healthy lifestyle to meet their needs and help them achieve their targets. I am also committed to supporting others so that they can achieve their goals, follow their passions and live your life to the fullest. When my business was taking the air and I was advancing, my mom passed away. It was the most devastating of them all. In Heaven she now rests after an 8-year battle against Scleroderma. However, I carry her with me and think of her every day. It's amazing how the world gives us exactly the instruction we require, even when we don't realize it. My mother's death has changed my life in a profound way and I believe she gave me a second chance in life. Her death occurred on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to enter her next life. I got my second opportunity to live an enjoyable and fulfilling life. As I enter my 30's, I'm alive and alert. I truly feel that I am living now and not merely existing like I did in the past. When I tell the story of my journey, it's to ensure that other people are able to relate to my thoughts and feelings. In order to feel that they are not alone. And that there is true love. Therapy is a necessity and it isn't unusual. In the end, your the health of your body is the most valuable thing you have. I pray to live your life fully and that your death be without regrets, because that's all you can count on for the rest of our lives.
