Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is at the end of her fifth year working with the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton has been awarded an Emmy as a sportscaster who has more than 10 years of experiences in sideline and sports journalism. Additionally, she has played in the NBA for more than 10 seasons. Allie was a sports journalist and reporter for feature stories at ABC Action News 13 (WTVG) while also serving as an analyst for color and sideline for the Buckeye Cable Sports Network's high-school as well as college and collegiate basketball, volleyball, and the track and field. Clifton is a native of Ohio born native and graduated with qualifications in sports analysis, journalism and liberal studies from The University of Toledo. Allie Clifton, who enjoyed outstanding high school basketball success at Van Wert High School that included winning the team captain's title in the school's first ever league title, went on to do well during her time at UT. She was a three-time captain and a letter-winner for 4 years. She also helped them win the Mid-American Conference West Division in 2010. Clifton is also no familiar with The Q and has played there in during the MAC Tournament during her four seasons in Toledo.
